Forest burning is a major world problem. It affects everyone. Burning to clear land is illegal in Indonesia, but it is still done all over Sumatra. This affects Indonesia because every hour a piece of land equivalent to 50 football fields is burned or clear-cut. Now that there is only 15% of the forests left in Sumatra everyone is affected. People of the region is very affected, they cannot bath in the rivers neither drink or use the water, because its full of ashes. We think this is a major problem because it affects many people .
