50 years ago on this day the laser was born. This invention is a brilliant thing because it has helped do all kinds of things. For example we would not be able to point at things far away if it wasn't for the laser. This is a smart invention because it also helps to cure injuries, cut things open, and depilate. In basic terms, a laser is any device that creates a narrow, intense beam of light, then amplifies that beam. We all think its a brilliant invention and hopefully it will evolve into a bigger, better machine.
